In 1996 my family and I moved to a new house in Farmingdale, NJ. It was the summer before I started the 5th grade and naturally I was nervous about meeting new friends and entering a new school. It wasn’t long before our family befriended our neighbors, The Joudreys. They were warm, loving, kind, and fun…and to top it off there were 3 boys the same ages as my siblings and I. 

Ann and Phil are a couple whose hearts are full of love and adventure. Together they share a wanderlust for traveling this incredible world. When we first met, they told me the story of their recent trip to California in which they rented a conversion van. Just like two hippie-gypsy lovers they traversed the Pacific Coast, stopping wherever they pleased.

Sarah and Mark hosted the wedding of their dreams at the beautiful Chimney Hill Estate Inn in Lambertville, NJ. It was here, beneath a majestic 100 year old oak tree that these two very special people became husband and wife. Sarah and Mark couldn’t stop the flow of their tears of gratitude, love, and joy throughout the entire day.

Erik and Yvonne are two of the kindest, most loving, most generous people I know. Together they care deeply for the Earth, for the Oceans, for their family and friends, and especially for one another. I was so touched when they asked me to photograph their beautiful wedding in Waialua, O’ahu.
